First Lady Michelle Obama wipes tears from her face after delivering remarks during a service of remembrance for Flight 93 and the terrorist attacks of 9/11, in Shanksville, Pennsylvania
I’ve always had respect for Mrs. Bush. I never like her husband policies, but she was always okay. It is to bad the other side doesn’t give our First Lady the respect she is due. They trash Mrs. Obama any chance they get. That is why I will always speak up for her, because I think she is one wonderful First Lady. I listen to Mrs. Obama speak 9-11-10 and she was great as usual.
I spied the evil, slimy operative Karl Rove in the audience at this event and I knew at once that this was another one of those fishy, smelly attempts at re-positioning the Bushes and their brigade. The fact that Laura bush also headlined a fundraiser the night before was also a big clue as to what this was really all about.
They shamelessly continue to exploit this national tragedy they aided and the disastrous fallout they initiated and helped sustain.
Funny how Laura Bush was nowhere to be seen in the 8 years her husband and his cronies wreaked major havoc on this country – including the 9-11 saga and the consequent optional wars, unattended disasters here at home and the insane plundering that followed;
But now there is this wierd attempt to recast Laura Bush and by extension the Bushes; hailing and celebrating her as some concerned, kind, uniting symbol…?! A huge, huge joke if there ever was one.
Unlike the blinded by hate republicans who have attacked and insulted Michelle Obama at every turn, the Democrats pretty much left Laura Bush alone – and that was certainly not for a lack of stuff to fling around.
And so we now have this bogus narrative of Laura Bush as some “good” & “kind” first lady who is “supportive” of and “helping” the Obamas?! Hopefully, too many Americans don’t fall for it.
Awww *hugs FLOTUS Obama* LB speech is cool and all but we need a clip of Mrs. O’s amazing and emotional speech. t4p
Laura Bush has proven to be a kind lady. She says many kind things about the Obamas and she has particularly complimented President Obama.
