President Barack Obama waves after shopping at Bunch of Grapes bookstore with his daughters Malia and Sasha in Vineyard Haven on Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts, on August 20
You’re so right Sue they do deserve a peaceful wonderful vacation. You have people questioning his faith now. Times like these they need to turn to that faith. And I have no doubt they will be just fine. Let’s keep them in our prayers.
Anniebella, I do keep the Obama’s in my prayers, additionally I pray for those that choose discord and hate over peace and love, as they need our prayers. I especially like this saying, “Hands that serve are holier than lips that pray”. President Obama demonstrates to me daily in his service, by his demeanor, by the way he relates to his family and the people of our country that he is a man guided by faith. I believe those who are planting these “seeds” of discord are the ones that need to look in the mirror and challenge their own faith. If they are Christians, I am wondering what teachings their actions reflect, I don’t see any resemblance to the lesons of my own Christian upbringing.
@vitaminlover – Theyr’e readers. When the President was a boy, his mom got him up very early in the mornings to read books. He was taught at a very early age the importance of reading and his daughters have been taught the same lessons from both parents. I love vitamins as well (lol).
I hope the Obama Family has a wonderful vacation in everyway possible. They deserve it!
If he shopped in a bookstore he is obviously a reader. Surely the girls are also and Mrs. Obama. I like the old saying “Readers are leaders”
I am so loving the “daddy slippers” lol.
To cool!
