Gosh, this picture makes a lump in my throat and in the pit of my stomach. This child really loves a Dad and he loves her. What a great picture. I am so glad they are home with him now. Its time for Malia to come home and the family will be complete

@graciouslady…….It is indeed a great picture. Sasha seem so happy to see her Dad. I think Mrs. O is happy to see him to. Despite all the so call uproar by the right wingnuts, I hope Mrs. O and Sasha had a wonderful time in Spain. It look like they did. I wonder if Malia is a little homesick?

I am sure that Malia is homesick but I thought that I read somewhere that she is very independent. So she may be toughing out the camp experience. Little Sasha does truly love her Dad. So much love in this family. One just feels it all the time!

ThanX Chipsticks for allowing me to have these warm, fuzzy family feelings with this picture of our First Family. Family is so important especially when we love each other. None of the unpleasant comments would be made about our First Family or each other, for that matter, if just a small amount of caring and love could be found in our hearts.

Gosh… I would have really loved to see the expression on the President’s face as he looked at the First Lady.

    But this is beautiful!

Well donna you know kids have a way of coming first. Mom and Dad will have to wait for their private time. But I’m happy to see the first family back together.

The right wing have gone on the attack against the First Lady and we who support her have to speak up. They have even gotten to calling her Marie Antoinette, and the media have jump to aide of these haters. Before this trip I thought Mrs. Obama was a wonderful First Lady and that has not changed one bit. Other First Ladies have travel all over the world in bad times and these people didn’t complain, but how dare this woman do so? Who do she think she is? What do you want to bet when Laura Bush and her twins were in Africa in 2007, these people weren’t outrage at what it cost. Was it an offical trip, what with them watching elephants or riding one.
