    It’s clear that this very decent and dignified President is head and shoulders above all these blow-hards who erroneously mistake dignity and decency for weakness and their silly cowboy chest-thumping & grandstanding as “strength”;

    Spot on Chi!
    We were just talking about this the other day and everyone agreed that President Obama is indeed doing exactly what he said he would: set a new tone and standard in our politics… disagree without being disagreeable.

    A decent, disciplined, calm President is so unusual that most Americans who’ve been subjected to years of harsh and brash, petty, arm-twisting, retaliatory and vindictive politics galore just don’t know what to do with this consistently even tempered and super decent gentleman.

    We remember during the primaries when every frustrated supporter wanted him to fight back, to lash back…he was even taunted as he is again today, as needing to borrow “a pair…”

    Thank God he was much, much smarter than the wailing mob;

    He won and not only because people like me apreciated this incredibly rare and consistent display of decency in politics, we also realized that his way is actually the harder way…

    It takes so much more guts, discipline, nerve and strength to rise above all the attacks – the neverending poke in the eyes by every idiot, the easily rebuttable insults, lies, mudslinging and dirty tricks: Very few men (and women) could ever pass that true test of character-

    The screaming, chest-thumping, vindictiveness, pettiness and vicious attacks: that’s easy stuff…

    May God continue to bless him with everything he needs to be the greatest, most positively effective President this country and the world has ever had – and all without ever losing himself in the process…

    And may God continue to bless the lovely First Lady – may they always find tremendous strength, love and peace not only in the Lord, but in each other…
